The Gokarneshwar Municipality, which covers an area of ​​1.5 sq km, located in the north of the capital Kathmandu, is a municipality established for the former Sundarijal, Nayapati, Baluwa, Gokarna and Jorpati VDCs.After the announcement, the municipality's elders were divided into 3 wards, after the local level announcement and restructuring of the Government of Nepal on February 5, and the center has been designated as Jorpati according to the following.
